Batik Wrap Bag or Bowl

Come learn a great technique for coasters, hot pads, place mats, baskets, and yes, even bags!  In class we will make a stunning purse or bowl from just clothesline and batik strips.  No pattern is needed.  Come be amazed at how easy it is to create this fantastic look!

Batik Wrap Bag Supply List

One package of 3/16” clothesline cord -100ft.

2 yards batik fabric

Large spool of Gutermann thread to match

Size 16 jeans needle

Sewing machine

Basic sewing supplies

If making a bag, please precut 1 ½ yard of the batik fabric into 1” strips WOF.

Bring remaining uncut fabric to class.

If making a bowl, please precut all 2 yards of fabric into 1” strips WOF.
