E-Line Club News

Carolina Sew-n-Vac E-Line club is open to all of our Baby Lock Embroidery machine owners. Please join us on the first Wed. morning of the month for a special project designed to help you learn to use your machine to its fullest.

This is a free class although there is a kit fee of $25.00. Class size is limited so reservations are required. Please call (919) 873-1981 to reserve your spot and kit.

“Monogram Circle Appliqué in the Hoop”
Wed. Feb. 1st 10am – 12pm

You will create a fun project all dressed up with a very popular monogram style. Class will teach you how to merge and create in the hoop using your built in features. You will also use your quilting stitches to prepare fabric to create a clip on bottle holder. It can be completed with a hook and pocket if you choose. There is much to be learned through this simple project and Kim will also share her love for some new stabilizers on the market.

“Kitchen Delights”
Wed. March 7th 10am – 12pm

Kim will surely delight you with a popular project from the past combined with a new twist. You will make a kitchen combination of microwave mini mitts and Kim’s grommet recipe card holder. You will work with Insul-Bright, Inn-Control, large grommets and vinyl. It will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how best to sew with these newer products. Bring along your Teflon foot plus other basic feet and see how quickly and easily we stitch up our kitchen duo. We will take a break from embroidery this month but Kim will have embroidery ideas to share with you on how to add embroidery to these wonderful and useful kitchen items.

“April Showers Bring May Flowers”
Wed. April 4th 10am – 12pm

With showers in our April forecast, we will need an umbrella for sure. This month learn how to embroider those “Hard to Hoop” items. We will be looking at how and when to use the right stabilizer for the job and personalize an umbrella in the process!

“Kim’s Surprise”
Wed. May 2nd 10am – 12pm

Kim is keeping this class under wraps! Ask for supply information when you call to register for class.
