Sit ‘n Sew 2023 in our Cary Store
The class experience at Carolina Sew n Vac provides great guidance and a strong sewing community.
In 2024 we have our all day “Sit n Sews” from 10:00-4:00 and the cost is only $10.
A Sit n Sew means you are free to bring whatever you would like to work on. You will also bring your machine and all needed supplies. This type of class offers a lot of flexibility for each student. As of last year Kim has added “Group Sews” to our time together. This means she will also be teaching selected projects for certain weeks and you can participate along with others or simply work on your own projects. Come join us by calling ahead to pay and register at 919-469-4730.
Just sit and sew with us, sew what ever you want. Come to experience a supportive sewing community, while just having FUN!!!

Beginner Sewing Classes
For our beginners we have 2 simple projects that teach pattern reading, layout, cutting, and construction. We also have a time of basic machine learning that greatly benefits our new sewers. The goal is to learn how to properly use a sewing machine and basic construction. We offer beginner classes for both kids and adults, This is a great time to pull your friends together and allow us to host a sewing class just for you.
Prior to 2020, our class schedule was always full and we offered many in store events. After the pandemic many things have changed and we are still finding our normal. We always desire a sewing community around us and have found that this has been a good fit for everyone. Don’t forget that you will always receive free one on one instructions when you buy your machine
with us along with priority service on repairs.
