(C) Ruler Work for Beginners
- May 07, 2020 10:00 am

Quilt like a professional! You have the ability right on your home sewing machine. Get the look of advanced longarm quilting by changing your pressure foot and using acrylic rulers. The pressure foot and acrylic rulers are designed for home sewing machines and designed to achieve beautiful quilted effects without having invested in an expensive long arm machine. How does it work: The ruler foot floats just above the quilt (and/or sandwich). No hopping mechanism (as in a longarm machine) to get in the way of your hands or impede your vision. Your rulers are clear and sit beside your ruler foot while you guide the stitches to create beautiful designs You will need to purchase: the foot specific to your machine, the Westalee Starter Ruler Set, the 12? Arc/Straight edge ruler Note: Class schedule will include: An introduction to Ruler Work followed by 2 sessions spaced 1 week apart. You will be well on your way to a table runner. Come to class with an 18? quilt sandwich (top fabric, batting and bottom fabric) ready to practice on. You will be able to put what you learn to practice at home.
