Learn to Quilt
Dates: April 22 and 29 - Cary Store
Time: 10:30am - 1:30pm
Fee: $50
Learn all the basics of quilting. How to read a pattern, how to cut the fabric, how to sew basic quilt blocks. This is a two day class. You will receive a quilt pattern to follow.
What to bring: Fabric requirement to be sent out. sewing machine, rotary cutter, cotton thread. At the end of the class you will have a completed quilt top. We will also discuss ways to finish your quilt that can be done after the class.
Sewing level: This is a beginner class. You should be able to sew a ¼ inch seam allowance and be familiar with your sewing machine. It is recommended you are comfortable with using a rotary cutter.
